The Grater Little Plate began at a family table in Spain.

Our founder grew up watching her family reach for the same little ceramic plates at nearly every meal — grating garlic for the sofrito, ginger for tea, hard cheese over warm bread. Painted in the bright colors of the region, the plates were as beautiful as they were useful, and they were always part of the gathering.

Years later and an ocean away, she wanted to bring that memory back into her own kitchen — and share it. The Grater Little Plate is the result: handcrafted ceramic grater plates and serving dishes inspired by the ones she grew up with, made to grate, serve, and bring people together.

We’re a small, family-run business based in Southern California. On weekends you’ll often find her at one of the local farmers markets, demoing the plates and swapping recipes with anyone who stops by. Come say hello — and don’t forget the garlic.
